I have visited the ISV website and based on the current website information I prefer to be assigned to the following types of Volunteer Projects.

Conservation of Nature Sanctuaries (i.e. reforestation, habitat restoration, trail building, surveying and/or monitoring, data collection)

Endangered Species and Habitats (i.e. monitoring, beach patrols, light construction, observing behavior)

Community Support and Development (i.e. local community immersion, light construction, infrastructure maintenance, gardening, children’s educational and recreational programs)

Organic Agriculture and Sustainability (i.e. organic farming, painting murals, local product initiatives, trail building, maintenance)

DISCLAIMER: I realise the Volunteer Projects listed on the website can vary and are updated on a regular basis, and that it is my responsibility to check the website periodically for updates. I also understand that ISV will do everything possible to place me on a Volunteer Project of my choice; but acknowledge this may not be possible due to factors such as spaces available, departure date, flights, excursions, independent study, medical needs and friend placement. I am willing to participate on my assigned Volunteer Project.
