Canadian - Important Flight Information for Australia
PASSPORTS: ISV requires participants traveling outside their home country to have a current passport. Participant's passport must be valid for six months past the date of the scheduled return from the ISV program; if necessary participants will need to renew their passports prior to departure to meet this requirement.
ISV also requires all participants to mail a photocopy of their passport photo and ID# page to the ISV office with their final payment on or before 65 days prior to departure.
TRAVEL VISAS FOR AUSTRALIA:
A travel visa is required to enter into Australia. If you are a Canadian citizen, are taking the ISV group flight, and your passport information is received in our office on time (on or before 65 days prior to departure), Qantas Airways will electronically file your visa application for you. The fee of $25.00 CAD will be added to your final invoice.
All non Canadian citizens: 1. Must check with the Australian Embassy for their specific visa requirements.
Participants may find pertinent visa information at: http://www.australianvisasdc.com/visiting/eta.html 2. Acquiring any/all necessary documents are the responsibility of the individual participant. * Participant can apply for a visa online through the Electronic Travel Authority (ETA).
The ETA is a visa that is stored electronically, rather than a stamp or label in your passport. It will show up as part of your passport record when Customs officials check your passport details. FLIGHT EXTENSIONS:
ISV Standard 4-Week Program Group Flights have a 30 day duration. Any extension will result in a price increase of $100.00 CAD (with the exception of those participating in the optional Fiji excursion-this increase is included in the additional Fiji cost).
Requests for extensions are subject to availability and must be received in the ISV office via email no later than 90 days prior to departure. No date changes will be allowed whatsoever after tickets are issued (60 days prior to departure)
