UK - International Flight Options & Prices - Costa Rica
OPTION #1 - ISV Group Flight – Fly to Costa Rica on Continental Airlines (Standard Four-Week & Two-Week Volunteer Only Programme with or without Spanish Lessons)
All ISV Group Flights to Costa Rica will originate from London, Heathrow (LHR). All group flights arrive into and depart from San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO).
All participants must arrange their own domestic flights/transportation to and from London, Heathrow (LHR).
Costa Rica Flight Costs:
For the following departure dates: 11 June, 06 August & 20 August Cost of ISV Group Flight = £585.00 (plus taxes & ticketing fees)
For the following departure date: 09 July Cost of ISV Group Flight = £765.00 (plus taxes & ticketing fees)
Estimate of taxes & fuel surcharges as of Feb. 2010 = £265.00 GBP
Airline Ticketing Fee = £20.00 GBP (As charged by the airlines)
Please note: An ISV “Group Flight” consists of 10 or more passengers. In the unlikely event ISV is unable to meet this minimum requirement on any given date; those affected by this will be notified via email approximately 60 days prior to departure. At this time, a competitive “Individual Fare” will be quoted. Any deposit collected for the “Group Flight” will be applied to the “Individual Fare”.
Flight costs and taxes are subject to change due to fluctuating fuel surcharges, etc., implemented by the airlines. Prices may increase by as much as, but not more than £50.00 GBP.
Participants who are arriving after Spanish Lessons: Those participants who are opting out of Spanish Lessons will be arriving a day before their volunteer project commences, on a Thursday evening. ISV has organised a night’s accommodation at our Orientation Meeting Hotel, this is included in the pricing of the ISV Group Flight. We will contact you before your departure with all of the arrival information you will require.
All Custom Programme participants are required to take a flight organised by ISV.
Custom Programmes within Costa Rica only: Flight costs are the same as the Standard 4-Week Group Flights above with the exception of a £75.00 GBP extension fee.
Custom Programmes in multiples countries: Due to the complexity of the ISV Custom Programmes in multiple countries, the cost of airfare cannot be guaranteed at this time. ISV will provide a sample itinerary and quote of airfare within 15 business days of receipt of the required Custom Flight/Options Form and applicable deposits. (The Flight/Options Form is due no later than 105 days prior to departure.)
