  1) Project Preferences  
  I have no specific project preferences and will be pleased to be placed on any Volunteer Project. Skip step 2 and go to steps 3-5 below.

I have visited the ISV website and based on the current website information I prefer to be assigned to the following types of Volunteer Projects.

 
 

Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation (i.e. animal enclosure construction and maintenance, tree planting, weeding, feeding/bathing animals, data surveying, animal husbandry)

 
  Children’s Programs (i.e. teaching English, children’s activities and games, painting murals, light construction, orphanage, school and playground maintenance)  
 

Community Support and Development (i.e. light construction, painting, fencing, developing village infrastructure)

 
  Education and Sustainable Tourism (i.e. teaching English, improve village living conditions, assist in community tourism projects)  
 
  3) Special Questions  
  Some Volunteer Projects require participants to have a high degree of fitness. Please rate your level of fitness.

  I prefer not to volunteer in a remote location.

  4) Independent Study  
  I plan to earn academic credit through independent study. Receiving independent study may affect project placement, depending on course requirements.

If you plan to follow the ISV Course Syllabus for your independent study, please check the box below. A $50 fee will be added to your ISV invoice, as your ISV Project Leader will provide oversight and an evaluation of your performance on the project. Details are located on our website at www.isvonline.org/catalog/programs/Academic_Credit. If you have not yet determined whether you will follow the ISV Course Syllabus, leave the box unchecked and email academiccredit@isvonline.org if you do decide to follow it.

I also understand that ISV will do everything possible to place me on a Volunteer Project of my choice; but acknowledge this may not be possible due to factors such as spaces available, departure date, flights, excursions, independent study, medical needs and friend placement.
